An Insight Into TrustCloud verses Klout to Measure ROI

You are here: Home / Digital Marketing / An Insight Into TrustCloud verses Klout to Measure ROI

October 10, 2012 //  by Mike Allton

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Klout (http://www.klout.com) gives people an opportunity to see a full list of their social network interactions—when other people engaged with their written or image content. We can see the results of how each interaction impacts our Klout Score. I have found this very useful to realize the impact of my daily/weekly activates with Social Media and how this gives me an “ROI.” My Klout profile: http://klout.com/#/Stella_Holman

Another application called TrustCloud (http://www.trustcloud.com) recently appeared and has become very popular. Berrie Pelser – @BerriePelser at Ber|Art Visual Design VOF (http://ber-art.nl) created the TrustCloud User group on Facebook to enable users to understand how to use the application, sort out technical issues and receive constructive feedback to enable the technical support team at Trustcloud to quickly act and sort out any issues.

I was glad to have this option when I created my account – https://trustcloud.com/!/StellaAHolman. I registered using my email address and then ran into problems trying to sync my Twitter profile. When I logged in with my Twitter I inadvertently created a second TrustCloud account, but this was quickly and efficiently sorted out by Dave Carlson – http://trustcloud.com/!/buzzdave

Within the Facebook Group are people that interact on a regular basis and also share content online. This activity creates the reading via the Algorithms as it maintains a regular action on Facebook.
Algorithms that are used on the site enable the awards of Badges” and also there is the option for users to endorse other members.

Terminology of Algorithms explained simply on this link – http://computer.howstuffworks.com/question717.htm. It is the result of online activity that gives the high scores.

The popular networks that are current added to each profile are Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, StackOverflow, TripAdvisor and Ebay.

TrustCloud gives each user the option to embed their profile code into their web site and email signatures.

Overall I believe that the TrustCloud application is a reliable way to see how users are active online and those who have maintained the high score clearly demonstrate their skills to interact with Social Media and high volume interactivity with other users. Have you used TrustCloud or Klout? What are your opinions of either? Do you have a preference?
