Are You Frustrated With Blogging?

Reading Time: 2 minutes I’m working with a small team of people whose sole mission is to find a way to help fellow bloggers and entrepreneurs. Are you interested?

Reading Time: 2 minutes

I started blogging in 2007. At the time, I blogged because I’d read somewhere that blog posts could help a business rank well in search and attract business, but that’s about all that I knew. Those initial blog posts were poorly written bad. Just bad. And all over the place. While I was blogging about social media and blog creation, my business was not directly related to those topics… it was good information for my clients to have, but it wasn’t helping me to get clients.

Fast forward to today. I made a pivot so large in 2012 that it required a completely different business and website – one that actually focused on blog coaching and social media consulting. And now when I blog about blogging, it makes sense for my business.

That’s just one of the many struggles that I had as a new blogger and business owner. And it’s one of the problems that I think you might just share with me.

Or am I wrong?

I think that if I had been able to better focus my business and align what I was doing with what my audience needed, I could have saved myself years of struggle.

That’s why I’m really excited to be working with small team on a solution that I think will help you with this, as well as a couple of other problems. Vinny and Susanna and myself want to tackle issues like figuring out what topics to blog about, how to research the competition, and how to rank well with search engines.

But we need your help.

Rather than come up with a solution for what we think we should be doing, we’re taking the time to talk to other bloggers to really dig down into what the real problems are, and what kinds of solutions are truly needed.

We’re following a process outlined in “The Lean Startup” and these are referred to as Problem Interviews. They’re not sales calls. There’s no product to sell yet! They’re just an opportunity for you to tell us about your own experiences and see if what we’re working on makes sense to you.

If that sounds interesting to you, and you’re willing to help, sign up here. All we need is your name and email address, soon after which you’ll get an email from myself or Vinny or Susanna to schedule a convenient time to chat. The interviews are easy, take less than 30 minutes, and can be done via phone, Skype or Hangout, whatever works best for you.

Can we count on you? Will you help us help other bloggers?

Your participation is sincerely appreciated.
