Pinterest Gets Serious About Mobile

Pinterest, the social image sharing platform that is growing exponentially, has released version 2.0 of their successful app. This release brings with it Android platform support, as well as iPad.

According to the update:

"All new iPad app that makes it easy to pin, repin and browse the web."

It goes on to include, "better usability for the iPhone and improvements to stability and performance." Pinterest account creation is also now possible from the app.

We have always been impressed with the Pinterest app and found it to be among the best in terms of performance and stability (as compared to, say, Facebook).
