More than two hundred million professionals from around the world enjoy the services of social networking website LinkedIn. Of these, 39 percent pay for the site's premium services. But should you be one of them?
LinkedIn has been making a great effort this year to improve the expand the site's internal Search capabilities. LinkedIn recognizes that the professional use of the site has evolved beyond resumes and job postings, and that businesses and professionals are using the site to forge new connections and relationships for a variety of purposes.
LinkedIn has said time and time again that its desire is for its members to only connect with other members with whom they have had previous interaction, either through a shared work experience, school, or as a vendor. Members who don't yet know each other are encouraged to connect only after having been introduced or referred by a shared connection.
LinkedIn released an update for their mobile apps today that is, in a word, gorgeous. The entire app has been rebuilt and revamped to the point that, I'm suprised we didn't have to delete the old app and download an entirely new one.
