Today marks the one year anniversary of the launch of The Social Media Hat. In that time, we’ve published over 400 articles, blog posts and stories, including 50 guest blog posts. We’ve covered how to use Google+ and how not to use Google+, as well as the other major social networks. We’ve talked about blogging and SEO and the technology of Star Trek, and you have helped spark and enrich countless discussions through your comments and shares.
When I started this project, I had no idea how well it would be received. Any success we’ve had I owe to you. Thank you.
In the coming weeks, we will continue to keep an eye on changes and developments in the social media and marketing world, we will continue our in-depth look into the social media management tool HootSuite, and we will no doubt have fun talking about the latest iPhone and other new technology.
And you can look forward to an all-new design for The Social Media Hat to be unveiled this month, including a new logo and new Pages on Facebook, Google+ and LinkedIn. My beautiful and talented wife and designer, Eva, has been working hard on these designs for some time.
