Delicious is streamlined, better for business

Delicious, the social bookmarking website, has launched a completely new version of their site and service. They announced that they were working on a new version in December, and even released access to a demo version of the site so that users could preview the changes and provide feedback. The new version is clean and contemporary, and offers easy access to the site services that are most important: finding interesting links, finding interesting people, and reviewing the links you've previously bookmarked.

In May we talked about how businesses can leverage Delicious stacks to curate their content. In an announcement on July 22nd, Delicious stated that Stacks will be consolidated with Tags starting in early August. According to the statement:

We introduced stacks last year as a visually rich way to think about your links and we've been blown away by the amazing content you've created. But given the upcoming launch of new products from Delicious' parent company, AVOS, and our focus on simplifying the Delicious site, we realized the value of stacks is limited for our users moving forward.

Delicious.com is a social bookmarking site. Users save links to sites and pages and can share their links and bookmarks with others. Now, users can organize their links into "Stacks" which do more than just categorize the links: stacks display the link's content in newspaper format for easy scanning.
